8º Personal Opinions

Hello everyone, today I will write my personal opinion about anything. I chose to give you my vision about the last performances of the Chilean police or Carabineros, If you don’t know, the last weeks the police are involve in a big polemic, they murdered a young Mapuche in strange situations.  In my life, I   have not had good experiences with policemen and since I was younger I started to fell distrust about this organization because I have heared and read about cases of corruption, false accusation and farce cases with innocent persons being in jail. I know that I don’t have to put all this persons in the same bag, there are some that really want to do obey the law and do it with the right way, but it is so hard when we find out many cases that policemen have acted wrongly. Many people with whom I have talked about this are agree that police have to do something to recover the trust with the population and that the police that are in the South of Chile has to have a chan

Nº7 English languages challenges

Hello readers the topic of this is about my experience with English…   Since I was a child I liked to learn other languages and at the school I tried to learn everything that I could in the English class and now I think that I have learn the basic of this and in English class at the University I have practice task like “writing” and “listening” and know new vocabulary. About blogs, in my opinion it is a good way to learn new vocabulary and practice to writing in English but not by the classical methods, I tell you my owner experience and my point of view about different topics and you can to make an idea about myself. Always I forget a lot of word in Spanish so in English I forget a lot more and this is my principal problem, but the only solution for this is practice and I try to do it because I want to learn to speak English and have the ability to talk with people of other countries with any problem and, I want to travel over the world!   Outside the English class I don’t use

Nº6 Changes to my study program

Today I will write about my study program, this has six semesters or five years to become forester and now I am in the last part of this. About the program I would like to make a lot of changes, because I have some subject that I do not understand why I have to learn. In my opinion the new Study Programme have very few subject about the topics that really interest me, we just have two subjects related directly with plants, like “CICBAE” and “Crecimiento y Desarrollo de árboles” others about the ecosystems and biodiversity but a lot of subject about math, economy, marketing and how much wood you can extract of forest, and this last is what I don’t like of this, I can’t see forest, plants, animals like “things” that you can make money with this. When I decided to study Forestry I thought that I will learn everything about plants and how is the conservation of the natural recourses and biodiversity. Other negative part of my Study Programme is that that teachers just show us example

5º My future job

Hello readers, at this moment is so hard to me think in myself like a “functional person” for this society. I consider that I have a lot of thing to do after to finish the university. When I was on the first year at this career, I considered to take a job in the South of Chile, inside the forest, studying it. But now that I have being like four years studying forestry, I realized that this don’t is what I want and really I don’t have clear what is the type of job that I will dedicate my life. About my future job, my requirements are two: one that I don’t have to be all the time locked (like in an office) and two this job must not have a connection with the big forestry companies or that the focus of work don’t be the production. This are the aspects that I consider now, but I’m sure that when the time to decide me for a job I will think in a lot of other things. 4º Types of plants

Hello everyone, first I want to tell you that I decided to study forestry because I want to know everything about plants, such as the names or qualities of the species in Chile and especially because I want to know the process that plants have to do to live and grow. The photosynthesis for example, the skill of plants to convert the sunlight in food is amazing. You can find in my house a lot of types of plant, some cactus, fruit trees or other ornamentals and exotics plant. Now I try to cultivate my own medicinal garden with some plants with medicinal properties. The idea is make essential oil of these plants and if someone doesn’t feel well I could give this natural medicine. My favorite plant living in my garden is a fern called “Palito negro” ( Adiantum chilense ), because all the year it have green leaves, the stalk is completely black, you can find it only in Chile or Argentina the especial of this is that his reproduction system is through spore.

Nº3: Music

Hi everyone, the topic of this blog is MUSIC and here I go… Chose only one style of music for me is a very difficult task, because I follow a lot of artists and bands. The genre of music depends how I feell at the moment. For example, when I'm angry or sad I like to listening to some Punk rock or Rap songs but when I’m happy or I want to cheer up my days I like some tropical songs or music with more rhythm and instruments like Latin jazz, Ska, Salsa or Cumbia. When I was a child I liked the Pop music but with the time I understood that the music doesn’t have to be a commercial thing, more like it has to be a way to express your feelings or your ideas and I had to begin look for other styles. Lately I have been listening to some reggae songs, because a friend recommends me some bands, mostly Argentineans, and they are really good. Well, What about you?, you have a good band to recommend me? (I don’t like trap music!)

1. A country that I'd liked to visit

Hello bloggers, choose only one places is a very difficult task for me, the opportunity to know new places, cultures, people is an exceptional experience. I hope that when I finish the career I can do some money and go out… far away for a long time. Now the first place that come in my head is Africa for his ancient culture (very different to the occidental culture), with unique landscapes and animals that lived there. But, specially I want to know Egypt, because is a country with a long history behind. You can find the pyramids, a lot of museums with very interesting articles, for example, mummies and hieroglyphics. The amazing of this is that most people in this are vegetarian and you can find this type of dishes on every restaurant, so I can take a culinary tour and know a lot of new ingredients and tastes. Well, bloggers tell me what country you want to visit on the comments, and see you in the next blog.
